Eraser type
Brown, pink, black drawing erasers dedicated to 2B, 4B, etc., basically rubber erasers. Soft and opaque when facing a strong light source. The more common ones on the market are a Korean brand and Marley brand. Although it is marked as “dedicated drawing”, it is comfortable and effective in erasing (not referring to the effect of erasing carbon, which can be distinguished from the naked eye). It is still favored by students, but the eraser scraps after erasing are relatively long. Slightly inconvenient.
Another type of eraser commonly used for sketching is a plastic eraser (soft eraser). As the name suggests, this eraser can be freely shaped and is the softest in the eraser family. Not suitable for daily writing.
In fact, the plastic rubber that students are most concerned about is also very easy to distinguish. This rubber has a strong plastic texture because it contains a polypropylene base. When placed under a strong light source, it will present a translucent state. When erasing, the rubber crumbs generally do not form strips, but become small pieces or close to granular.
Some “flower erasers” for children on the market are essentially plastic erasers, but they are really “embroidered pillows”. They look good, but they are really not good for use. They are not recommended, especially for answering.
