How to make a pencil case?
Making a pencil case yourself can give your pen a place to put it, avoiding clutter.
Method/Step
Collect materials. You need two different fabrics, about one size per yard, a needle and thread, scissors, washable fabric markers or tailor’s chalk, and a ribbon.
Cut a large rectangle from two different fabrics. The rectangle of the fabric can be the size of the pencil case you want. About 7″12″ is enough.
Sew the rectangular things together. Sew the sides of the fabric together, each side facing the opposite side. Leave a long side without stitching, you can put it inside out. Then turn it over.
Cut another piece of cloth. Make this the same size as the first rectangle. Therefore, if your first two pieces of fabric are 7″12″, you should cut out another 7″12″ rectangle and use any of your fabrics.
Sew the new part to the original rectangle.
Sew thread for the pencil bag. Sew the half-folded thread every 2 minutes and go down. These will fill the gap in the pencil. You need to use a washable fabric marker or tailor pen to mark the fabric with 2 spaces first. You can strengthen the suture by twice the suture, passing the thread after the first suture thread.
Attach the ribbon. Sew your ribbon on one end of the box, outside, on the opposite side of the pencil bag. Sew the strap in the middle of the box. Stitch neatly along the edge of the ribbon and the pencil box. Put everything inside the pencil roll. Roll it up and tie it with a tape.
